>The dancers nod, and creep out of the study. The quarrelers, at least, don't seem to notice them.
>Following them out, they lead you around the corner and down an identical hallway, and into a room with a number of large wicker chairs covered with thick pillows, looking quite out of place among the classic Japanese decor. "This good?" Satono says.

>You summarize things to the dancers. They stare at you, and its hard to tell if they're really comprehending; Mai keeps looking back over her shoulder toward the disturbance, despite the door.

>At this point, you quickly lose them. You don't think it's lack of interest, exactly, more than getting lost in the details that are over their heads. At first they ask a few little questions, but those sort of fade soon in. Tojiko offers a few comments here and there to help you speed things along.
>The experiences from the human village you felt, the Taint in the water, you largely felt before The Formless One imposed itself on you. This does seem to get the dancers' attention a little, but you don't think it's bringing any recognition or eureka moments.

>Uncertain. Their entire vibe this whole time has been uncertain. You're pretty sure, from their point of view, their home has been invaded by a loud, belligerent stranger. And their normal method of dealing with this, being loud, belligerent, and violent themselves, has been denied to them.

>"Yeah, just a second!" Satono replies, as she moves to rummage through the room, turning up some old paper and an ink brush which she hands to you. As she does, Mai slides open the door for a moment, and frowns at the continuing argument. You think you can almost pick out, you think, Okina shouting "How dare you!" during the interlude before Mai shuts the door again.
