> "You called?!" a playful voice fills the room as Iris waddles in from the door in question.
> "It'd be a shame if this incident were to become impossible to solve! So I'll keep an eye on these statues!" she volunteers, hopping up on the table and inspecting Shinmyoumaru and Mokou closely.
> "Wait they moved! ..maybe not. What if I moved!?" she jumps, before finding a spot to sit on the exams Keine is grading.

> "That's not nice!" the other points at you disapprovingly.

If Keine is the culprit, you're not going to stop her or tell anyone, and if she isn't and the culprit strikes here again, there will be more of you to replace any of you that get turned into a statue along with her."

> The dolls frown and admit in sync "Fine, we'll fetch miss Yuyuko! Wait warmly while dolls search for ghosts.."
> As you wait the dolls perform a short but intricate duet dance on the table, managing to capture Keine's attention despite her best efforts to focus on grading assignments.
> Several minutes later miss Yuyuko returns, noticing the new statues "Oh dear, they've struck again!"

> "Maybe if I had been here..." she shakes her head.

> Thinking for a moment she explains "Last night I made significant discovery in a foreign tome describing the folklore around alchemy. One of the legends it describes is of an ancient king who pioneered the art of turning things into gold through magic it describes as the "Midas Touch Spell". Wasting no time I left to visit Remilia to ask if she could search for anything in her collection of western literature which could be connected to the spell where we found a recently disturbed grimoire full of formulas and schematics."

> "That would seem to be the case, though none of the fairy staff reported a break-in and Remilia hasn't invited anyone over recently. Keep in mind these foreign books are part of Remilia's personal collection, not Voile."

Break into a closed-off area completely undetected, targeting something or someone that randos shouldn't know about, and get out before anyone has a chance to stop you. You'll notice from the statues that it doesn't appear the Princess or Mokou even noticed anyone enter the room."
> "So that demands two questions. One, how did the responsible party - or parties, since the first attempt at this contest was a two-person job - know about both the contents of Remilia's personal book collection and what the Princess was researching last night? And two, how did they get into and out of these relatively secluded locations so cleanly?"

> Keine suggests "Either they were ambushed so quickly there was no chance to even react, or perhaps the culprit's presence might've not been alarming?"
> Yuyuko explains "Remilia theorizes that this must've happened the night of the Full Moon Festival, as that would've been the only time everyone would've been away."
