While looking around the Moriya Shrine forum, I found this thread, and I feel that we must to make it aware of this situation.

The important websites for the Chinese Touhou community are getting DDoS'ed, and it has become a concern for not only for them, but for all of us. If we didn't do anything about it, who knows when these attacks are going to stop. And what I've known is that this isn't done by some single fool, it is basically a full on a gang of people doing DDoS attacks to the Chinese Touhou fan websites. So, let us spread the word of this situation, and make it known to the community. Thank you for reading.

(Also, we must keep our guard up so as not to be also the victims of these attacks.)

Yeah, it's unfortunate but not much to do besides fund DDOS protection in a collective and hope they go away.

Also unfortunately, foreign donations are hard and people might be sketched out by them, so in this case "hopes and prayers" is really all you can offer.

Unless the entire global Touhou community bands up to start up a hosting collective that funds it own DDOS protection, CDNs, etc. but that's a much bigger demand.

There also seem to a certain number of free and open to cooperation precautions and tips to raise the awareness,alert,evel,and ultimately partially raise their security layers , against DDOS (Denial of Service Attacks).
