On the afternoon of September 29, 2023 in the US (morning of the 30th in more eastern places), BeheeyemBREAK's Twitter account posted the following:

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Ben (BeheeyemBREAK) passed away on Sunday, September 24th.

This account and his discord account are under the supervision of his family. For anyone who has good memories to share, we would welcome you to share them.

If you didn't know him, Beheeyem (also known as BEN) was a highly skilled player focusing on Touhou 17, he had perfect (LNNN) runs in all shots, and competed in Touhou World Cup in 2021, 2022, and 2023, LNNN-ing the game on livestream and winning his match in 2022 with ReimuOtter and 2023 with YoumuEagle. He also had LNNs in all shots for Touhou 18.

While this is a bit awkward coming from me, someone who hasn't directly interacted with him in a long time, and only listing his achievements in two bullet hells games, but I know he was beloved by many members of the community and I wanted to have a public, shared, archived space for people to commemorate him in other ways instead of on Twitter (which may implode any moment), or Discord (which is unindexable and opaque).
