My favourite thing about the sealed esoteric history is that it's kind of an alternate perspective on some of the Hifuu club activities. Like, I could 100% see everything that occurs within the anime happening in the actual canon, but it isn't depicted. It's a perspective a lot of doujin stuff goes for WITHIN Gensokyo but I rarely see in the context of the hifuu stuff, that's usually tellings of how Merry becomes Yukari or just RenMerry SoL

I happily agree about (Translated) "Hifuu Club Activity Record ~The Sealed Esoteric History " ,and personally I find it easier to express & explain & add with descriptive adjectives and analysis such as this ,or better because there is offten room for improvements inside and/or outside and/or both  : alternative , insightful , creative , mutliply-layered without complexity or thin layers of it ,etc.....WHILST still keep it up as coherent , balanced , harmonius ,etc. " an healthy and clean possible " to link and/or coexist and/or crossover and/or similar/better...with The Actual Touhou Canon,as you very rightly and clearly written out.
