> " Thank you,so she is more likely to be found there than anywhere else at this particular day... "
> Wait a bit if the faerie corrects and and/orr adds anything, and if she is"sure"...
> ...proceed to to the "eastern gallery".
>Say "Keep up the good work!" over our shoulder as we leave.
>"Yeah, I think so," says the faerie.
>You depart, offering her encouragement. "Mmmkay!" the maid replies, as she plops back down onto the ground.
>You head for the western wing. As you do, you see the maid from before emerge from a door on the far side of the hall, leading to the kitchen. She seems to be holding what looks like a chunk of bread dough, with several bites taken from it. Upon seeing you, she immediately cries out and disappears back into the kitchen, slamming the door shut. Shou gives a single "heh" in response.
>Entering the Eastern Gallery, you find it is full of various ink paintings, wood carvings, statues, vases, and other items of note from here and the mainland. Your eyes settle on some beautifully inked wall panels, then to a set of white-faced marionettes decorated with feathers and hung inside a glass case. The walls are covered with tastefully arranged wall scrolls, interspersed with larger items like statues, armor stands, and displays of various items. Of particular note, there are a number of statues of the buddha and various bodhisattvas that would be better kept in the Myouren Temple, but Remilia has expressed no interest in donating or selling such things.
>You quickly pick out Sakuya, the only other person here, waving a feather duster over a carved wooden panel hung on the nearby wall, depicting a man in swirling robes beating another man with a staff as two bull-headed figures hold him in place, while heavenly beings in gold look on. You think this is probably from the south-eastern mainland? She glances toward the two of you. "Ah, I had told Meiling to summon me when it was time," she says. "Just a moment."
