Any Touhou Eurobeat enjoyers?
« on: October 26, 2023, 03:44:43 PM »
I believe there are five stages of Touhou Eurobeat. To wit:

1. What's Eurobeat?
2. I know what Eurobeat is, but I won't listen to this kind of pedestrian music.
3. OK, I like a few Eurobeat songs.
4. EUROBEAT
5. Passing Eurobeat on to your grandchildren.

It would appear I'm entering stage 4 now, which makes me want to reach out to fans for possible recommendations. Anyone in here like it?

If you're in stage 1 still, here's a prime example.

I'm quite a fan of Yuuhei Satellite, specifically arranges by Autobahn. Even tried to set some racing game records to their music a few times.

Is that so~? I'll check them out. What a massive discography though... What's a good starting point?

I mostly listen to their albums and singles before 2015, don't know how their style went after that. For recommendations, here's a list of my favourites with albums and track numbers.

...Though frankly, these are probably less Eurobeat and more just good electronic music, but the old albums have decent Eurobeat stuff for sure.

I'm looking to get into Touhou Eurobeat but I don't know where to start. What are some good recommendations that are "beginner level" so that I can get a feel of what it's like?

I'd look for T. Stebbins on Youtube. Excellent vocalist.
