> You wave and head over to the Kirisame magic shop to cut through to the other side of the building.  As you step inside you see various magic trinkets and spell card creation materials on sale.  At the back of the store is a curtain with a sign above that reads "Suzunaan".

> You slide past the curtain and enter Suzunaan!  Inside it's arranged like a library, with many tall shelves holding various books, magazines and newspapers (with the occasional magical trinket or two scattered around).  In the center is a large round reading table for checking out books before buying them.  Near the door is the cashier's counter where a lady in a red and white checkered dress appears to be working.
> The cashier waves "Welcome welcome!  If you need help finding something just ask!"

> Can we tell if this lady qualifies as any sort of physical extreme for reversal purposes, such as 'short' or 'thin' or 'flat' or other such aspects?

> "Hey there, thanks for having. I was actually wondering about the meaning of some Western script I came into, and a trusted source pointed me in the direction of this shop."

> The lady nods "Certainly!  It is well known in the village that I've been blessed with the magic of deciphering books through touch!  In exchange all I ask is that you consider any offer I make to purchase said book!"

> She looks at the picture and thinks for a moment before explaining "The symbols are glyphs from a ancient syllabic type of writing system used in the West, specifically in Europe.  They spell out 'Darkness'."
> Sariel nods "Darkness..."
> The shopkeeper then picks it up to look closer "However there is one symbol near the base of the blade I can't figure out...  perhaps it's some kind of magic sigil or even a maker's mark and therefore not part of any historical language I understand?"
> You still can't tell through her attire.

> Presumably this lady is human, if she has a renowned shop in this village - can we tell how old she might be?

> "Hmm, I see. Which symbol is that, if you don't mind my asking?"

> The age of a young adult you guess?  Ever since the lunarians set up shop it's become hard to tell with the space-age healthcare available!

> She points it out right above the handle at the very base of the blade.

> Sariel shrugs "To me it looks like a raised circle with with two crescent shapes intersecting it, which is surrounded by indented lines pointing outward.  That's all I can tell..."

> Look back to the shopkeep.
> "Thanks for the help, miss...?"

> "Kosuzu!" she adds before asking "Are you not from around here?"

> "Nah. I'm kinda-sorta new-ish to the general area."

> "If I were from around here, I'd imagine you'd have heard about someone like me standing out as much as I'm sure I do."

> Surprised "I see, Seija.  Well since we're a bookstore and not a weaponsmith I'm afraid I won't be able to put an offer in to buy that from you but feel free to browse!"

> "Did you hear about these cards? Someone out there apparently knows a lot of things about some of us, and dropped off a whole slew of them at the Hakurei Shrine the other day."

> You pull out the card and she takes a look at it before answering "Never heard about them!  They look like blank spell cards though!"
