> "I-I don't know if I could accept that responsibility." she explains before asking "Mind if I show you something.  Since you're from another realm I'm curious to see if you can understand some writing..."
> She shifts for a moment before slipping out of your hands and opening a small portal between you.  From within it she raises a large double-edged knife and presents it to you.
> You've obtained: Oversized double-edged knife (?) - The blade has a dark red, almost purple sheen to it.  Along the side there appears to be writing in an odd language, where each symbol consists entirely of a handful of straight lines.

> In a cold tone "The day she disappeared I found an enormous crater beyond the shrine we first met at, which has since filled with dark red water and turned into a lake." she continues "I found this blade at the very bottom of the crater, amongst still-burning ashes."

> She explains "Around two hundred years ago.  There was a master demon she was after, I don't know the specifics but their powers were rumored to be immeasurable. We had also come across information regarding their location on a certain date.  Using the element of surprise we would set up an ambush to take them down, however early that morning a long overdue vampire decided to present themselves and I was obliged to give chase.  They ended up escaping into the mountains but by the time I got back there was a giant crater at the location we were going to ambush with nothing save for her dagger in sight."

> Sariel explains "She always wore a cloak...  Unlike those of us who stick out like a sore thumb in a crowd, she could blend just about anywhere to get closer to her targets."

[Kilgamayan]

> An entire underground river comes into view below you!  A well kept bridge appears to be the only way across.

> "Huh. This look familiar to you at all?"
> Float down to land on the bridge, keeping hold of Sariel as we land.

> You land at the start of the bridge and take a look around.  The water below is flowing very fast and appears to be quite deep.
> She shakes her head "It's been a long while since I was last here...  I certainly don't remember a bridge this well kept."
