>You make your way toward the Human village once more as the sun rides low in the western sky. Faeries are getting more active, you can see a few little groups of them playing over the treetops. Are you continue further northward, you see human farmers leaving their fields and settling up for the day; others coming home from the village. A few crows are squawking as you approach the village; one wonders if they're affiliated with the tengu or just there being crows. Just looking from above from a distance from the outskirts of the village, you can see it is much emptier than before.

>The taverns and eateries are busy this time of day. You imagine that the residential areas are also quite busy.
>You head into the village, making your way toward the marketplace. Reaching it, you find many of the stands and shops are closed for the evening, and some others are in the process of packing up. The people lingering here now are largely just duos and small groups that are hanging around and socializing, it is much easier to make your way toward the medicine seller, who is also in the process of closing up shop.

>"You too, mysterious kappa," the poorly disguised medicine seller says, as you depart.
>You leave town without trouble, and take to the air. Drinking the concoction, you are sure it must be the real thing because it tastes horrible, you're kind of glad you have to drink it all at once so you don't have to have two drinks of this. Then you don't feel anything as you fly southeastward. For a good while, you wonder if it's actually working until, about the time you're flying over the forests at the base of Youkai Mountain, and home is just about within sight, you feel something soft brushing against your calves every so often.
