I showed this off privately to some people last fall, when I started this project. Thought I'd show off what the engine can do after a year of on-and-off work. Though mostly it was no activity until a couple months ago, when I've been working on it more actively.
I'll save the technical details for a blog post or something, but the goal here is to produce a single stage and boss script a la Touhou Fantasia, in my own custom engine.
I'm hoping to get a beta or something out in time for the Bilibili Touhou doujin creators event, which runs until October 13 or sometime around there, so I have about a month to grind. No pattern design has been done yet and also a lot of infrastructure is missing, particularly for bosses 😬. So I probably won't make the deadline, but it's good to give myself a goal.
