>You make your way in.
>Looking around, you don't see much presence of the maids; most of them are probably getting ready for bed by now. There are a few of the more trustworthy ones that are active, naturally nocturnal ones if you recall correctly. Heading into the library, it seems reasonably peaceful, though you can hear Yukari and Remilia chatting further in. You also catch a glimpse of a red dress and rainbow wings moving between the shelves; the young mistress is definitely awake.
>Reaching the center of the library, it is practically unchanged from when you left it. Yukari and Remilia off to the side of Patchouli's favorite table; a couple of unclaimed saucers with crumbs and hints of icing suggest they've had a treat lately. You think Patchouli is reading the same book, and studiously ignoring the other two.

Outwardly, she seems every bit as relaxed and comfortable as Remilia. However, you can feel a tension around her, a kind of nervous energy keeping her up. Once she lets that slip, she is almost surely going to be an exhausted heap.

>Yukari and Remilia listen, Remilia raising an eyebrow while Yukari's face is impassive. Then you see a small twitch in the corner of Yukari's eye. She speaks, saying one thing, drawing out each syllable into its own world and practically snarling the last syllable. "Matara!"
>Then she's on her feet in an eyeblink, a gap opening to her side which she immediately stomps through. Silence hangs in the air, as Remilia looks at the gap with wide eyes; Patchouli giving it a sidelong glance. "We...are speechless," Remilia says, lamely as you've ever heard her speak.
