Here's my gameplay
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhY_CsBVcY4- The enemies with auras have certain effects when in range. Stage 1 (gold) I believe boosts the defense of other enemies in the aura, but I'm not certain. Stage 2 (red) doubles lives lost when inside the aura. Stage 3 (blue) drains your power when inside the aura.
- The difficulty seems quite a bit lower than what I remember from past demos. Even just the midnon in stage 1 was like 3x harder in the past two demos and it's a bit sad in this demo lol, hopefully it gets a buff back up. Playing as badly as I did and ending with over 5 lives at the end of s3 is a bit too much handholding I feel like.
- The hardest thing in this demo is the Hyp cameo spellcard on Lunatic lmao is that thing even possible.
- The effects can be a bit much sometimes, and the hardware requirements of the game are quite a bit above your usual LuaSTG game as a result.
- The decision to put the Dream-Reality Meter and C-key behind a second loop is interesting, though I don't know if that encourages usage of the system that much.
- Alcedo is cute.
- Marisa dialogue is funny especially in Stage 1, give it a read.
