Rumia Quest - Innocent Wish
(1/201) > >>
Neovereign:
> You are Rumia, Youkai of the Dusk, or Youkai of the Twilight. Many names could fit you as the ruler of the dark. Living within the world of Gensokyo, you are a prime example of what it means to be a Youkai. And yet, even so, you’re kind of one of the least respected and least cared for residents of this fantasy land. Maybe that’s an exaggeration, but being a Youkai with manipulation of darkness, many would believe you deserve more than what you have now.

> Speaking of, what you have now is... not very much. You do not have a residence that you can call home. You do not have guaranteed meals to help you through your day. You don’t even have a goal in life. Well, you do have that last one...

> Within your hair and atop your fairly small figure is a red ribbon. A cute bit of decoration, maybe, but a curious and harmful one at that. You believe it’s been with you for a long time, but not forever. The harm in it comes from a shocking pain that flies through you whenever you attempt to touch it. Despite your best attempts, you’ve never been successful in taking it off yet. This annoying ribbon could be a youkai itself, slowly gathering bits of your energy before it ends you. It could be a relic that brings pain. It could be some higher being cursing you with this hairstyle forever. You just don’t know, but you need to find out.

> You are currently in the night sky of Gensokyo, somewhat near the Moriya Shrine.

> Your inventory consists of the usual clothes on your back, and that ribbon stuck in your hair.

> Your Quests and Goals are to find out what this ribbon really is, and even if its nothing, find a way to remove it.
> At the moment, you could go for a bite to eat. And you'd also like a place you can statu and come back to, but you won't be satisfied until the ribbon business is resolved.

> You'll get them eventually! But for now, at least you're healthy and normal.

> You are alone in this world... You don't have anyone you can  really call your friend.
> You could try to consider the Hakurei Shrine Maiden as an enemy, but apparently she was just doing her job and you were in the way. You are pretty fortunate she didnt exterminate you or anything.

> The Moriya Shrine is supposedly a better Hakurei Shrine. If you start a fight, you might get exterminated for real...

> You used your darkness of course. You're practically invisible with it, surely! Its surprisingly easy on a night like this.

>What about Cirno, Mystia, Wriggle, and Daiyousei? Aren't they our friends?
>Wait, if we have our darkness up, how do we know if we're near the shrine at all? We can't exactly see through it well which is something those evil trees take advantage of...
>Silently curse the trees and their... treeness!

> You know of a couple of them, but not enough to call them your friends.

> You used your darkness. You're not using it now since you're already close enough

> You curse the trees silently. Though they have their usefulness. Bumping into a tree can remind you to stop your darkness for a moment and check to see if you're there yet, for example!
> Nonetheless, it'd be better if they didn't hurt so much...
