The music arranges sounds nice, I especially like
Yamame's beach theme. Fine work by Ziki_07, if I may say
Anyway, aside from the boss battles, the demo also seems to have a
mini-tutorial section that is REEEEAAAALLYYYY structured like a stage section, featuring tutorial mobs, hazards, and stronger mid-boss like mob (or that just represents the end-stage boss). The demos we received contained exclusively boss battles, which made it pretty reasonable to expect the game to be nothing but boss rush. But honestly, this to me still shows the possibility of the game having proper stage sections (which would really make the game last longer)
Tasofro might be mainly known for their Touhou fighting games, but it should still be reminded that they also made Megamari and Super Marisaland before : even if this game's gonna have lengthy boss battles, stage sections should still be something that they are capable of implementing imo
Just imagine this : a good old story mode with the various difficulty setting, a time attack mode, a boss rush mode, an extra mode, a only-one-life mode ... if Tasofro puts not just stage sections but a bunch of challenges such as these, then that would really add a lot of replayability to this game
If there's a small change I'd like them to implement, it'd be on the cutscenes. The girls talking to each other while being frozen in a single immobile sprite for most of the time really seems very awkward to me. Probably use the default idle animation instead or something, that would add quite a bit of life. Other than that, I've also seen a bunch of videos where there's a bug(?) where the bosses AND even the player can get stuck on corners. Hopefully that gets fixed in the final release too.
