I do actually recommend reading the linked post to the original setup because the rules are slightly non-standard. That being said, I'll summarize them here for you.

DEFcon is a fun open setup (8 town, 3 scum, 1 itp serial killer) where you get to CHOOSE YOUR OWN ROLE from the list. Or you can have a nuclear missile, the unlimited-count vigilante role that also features a defense mode! WHAT AN OPTION!

The one-person-only role list apart from NUKES includes all of the most standard town roles (rolecop/cop/doc/roleblock/tracker), plus Ascetic/Vengeful/Stealth-vig and Eavesdrop, which gives you some of the scum QT's messages.
