>You step outside, and find the the grounds have become a bed of various sea plants, with the odd manicured tree sticking up among them. The statue garden to the east is swamped with seaweed, while the old broken fountain to the west just seems comical at the moment. The gates ahead are still closed, but without a guard it would be trivial to simply swim over it. Or through it, in the case of many of the fish.
>You swim upward a few dozen feet, Stargazer drifting along after you. The mansion's clock tower looms in the brine, a school of sardines lingering around it. Looking down, the mansion seems to be about as intact as you could hope for this kind of situation; you don't see any obvious damage. ...Perhaps an odd roof tile here or there is missing, having broken off and either tumbled away or floated away. Looking around, the grounds seem to be largely intact as well. Further out, you can see what was Misty Lake. Now that everything is under water, it just looks like a valley.

>You leave library behind, and come to the front hall. Half-rotten tapestries slowly wave in a very gentle current, while the frames of paintings are trapped against the ceiling. Some denser wooden objects, such as a few cabinets, are still in they proper place, though covered with barnacles and creatures native to the sea bottom. Decorate suits of armor lay in piles around their stands. A long red banner runs along the ceiling; it takes you moment to realize this used to be the rug that ran along the center of the hall. The rugs on the staircases leading to the second floor balcony that overlooks the hall are still in their place, held down by stair rods. The front doors hang open, giving you a glimpse into the flooded grounds.
